The company noted… ‘On Strava, photos have been a way to amplify your activities and give the community a glimpse into your efforts. Videos play auto-looped, and the ability to watch and upload videos is free for all athletes (i.e., not part of the subscription). Landscape and portrait orientations are both supported. If a video file is longer that 30 seconds, Strava will trim it automatically. In the coming weeks, Strava users will note that video clips of up to 30 seconds can be added to activity uploads, and there’s no limit on how many videos that are included with posts on Strava. As of today, all Strava users will be able to see videos in their feed but not everyone will be able to upload right away, as the new feature has a phased roll-out. The ability to upload video is on its way for the global Strava user community over the next few weeks.
